Should I use a concealer as well as foundation since I have acne scars?

I never had a problem with having acne scars until I got the depo provera and it was my WORST nightmare! I have never in my life had such a bad breakout and now that it's gone ,aside from the ones I've been getting since becoming pregnant, but there are only a few. But my question is since I have acne scars should I use a concealer underneath my foundation? I don't have the deep acne scars that are like "craters" just surface.
