head and shoulders. if you wash your face with it it will work amazing! I tried a million different skin products from clearasil to more expensive washes from beauty stores but head and shoulders works better than these!! I had extremly oily skin and i could tell the difference in that in one wash so of course the acneclears up soon after! Just make sure to rinse it all off!!

I have been battling acne since the sixth grade, im am now 18 and still have acne. I have tried many products such as proactive, and have had little or no results. This is probably going to sound harsh, but the only person in this world that is actually going find a cure to your acne is YOU. But, I can tell you things that have helped me dramatically. 1. If you have oily skin, like me, you must stay hydrated. Im not sure how it works, but drinking plenty of water is the best thing you cant do for oily skin. 2. STAY OUT OF THE SUN!!!!! Getting a suntan, or even being exposed to the sun for more than 15 minutes a day without sunscreen is the biggest cause of acne. the biggest. I don't care what anyone else thinks, it is the truth. I found out the hard way. Apply sunscreen of at least 15spf EVERYDAY that you go outside. If you don't listen to anything else in this answer, PLEASE STAY OUT OF THE SUN!!!!!!!!!!!! 3. The best thing for acne scars is drinking a least 2 liters of water everyday. Water helps the skin slough off dead skin cells, which is the top layer of the skin(the scars that you see in the mirror). Aloe Vera Gel is the second best for acne scars. 4. Diet. Stay away from sugar, and all bad fats. These cause increased oil production that leads to clogged pores which leads to BIG pimples. Eat your fruits and veggies..lol. 5. Exercise will greatly help, but it is not needed. 6. Stress is the second biggest cause of acne. When you are stressed, your white blood cells(The ones that fight infection) plummet. When this happens, breakouts have the best chance to screw up your face. 7. DON'T POP ANY pimples that do not have a white head on them. But if you must, apply a warm compress for 5-10min then insert a needle until you hear/feel a *pop*. If you do pop a pimple that isn't ready, it just causes more pimples, scars, and red spots, SO DONT POP THEM!!!!! 8. Take a daily multivitamin. You should research zinc, fish oil, and acidiphilus, for these supplements are the ones I take for acne and they help dramactically, but you must ask you doctor if it is okay to take them. 9. The rest is random thoughts on this question: Don't take hot showers, Do a facial massage when you are washing your face, Exfoliate at most twice a week, Do a facial steam once a week, Try drinking apple cider vinegar(THIS IS A ACNE KICK-ASSER). Change your pillow cases everynight, Never touch your face with dirty hands(VERY BAD). The best product I have EVER found for getting rid of pimples is calamine lotion, just shake it up, apply on the pimple at night before bedtime and in the morning. It may not completey dry up the pimple the first night(but it almost does), but after 2 nights its gone. Remember, before applying any of these suggestions to your life, research every aspect of them, and ask your dermatoligist/doctor. NEVER LET ACNE GET YOU DOWN!!!!!! EVER!!!!!!!!!!!! Don't let acne control your life, control acne.

The best product I've ever used is Accutane. Acne was GONE and I had few if any side effects. I know some people have had issues with it, but this seems like a fair review of the product from a dermatologist: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iPQYCyHtXF4
